The Sterling Resort was a vacation hotspot. Tourists would come into Nashville, Tennessee all the time during the summer to spend days or weeks there. No one knows why, but one day it shut down. No explanations, no nothing. It was just..."gone." Rumors flew up about what happened there... some people who stayed there swore they heard voices in their rooms at night and others claimed there were shadows outside their windows and clashing of something mysterious. People thought it was haunted, but others just laughed in their faces and said the owners probably went bankrupt. The owners of the resort disappeared. After awhile so did the stories and nobody spoke of it ever again.

Spencer Ann Wells was an adventurous girl with an adventurous best friend, Hunter. She loves mysterious, odd, interesting stories, so of course it's not long until she starts searching the internet for them. On the 13th page of her google search she came across an article that said "The Sterling Resort" and that's where her story begins....

Welcome to Evergreen
During winter break, a retreat welcomes 20 students from a nearby city school into Evergreen, a small friendly mountain town known for it's scenic views and cozy inns sought after for the vacation vibe. Welcomed to take part in a retreat promoting mindfulness and self-growth, the students on this trip find this as the opportunity to do everything but that. On a hike, a group of students wander out to a nearby grotto where they discover a plethora of flowers. Entranced by their beauty, they decide to take some back with them. Within hours of this event, one of their chaperones falls ill. She becomes extremely irritable and erratic with everyone she encounters in town. Soon enough, other townspeople begin to fall ill with similar symptoms and this sends a wave of panic over the town and its inhabitants. The local sheriff decides to place a quarantine on the town to avoid new people from becoming affected and preventing those who are ill from leaving and possibly spreading the mysterious malady. It seems no one from the outside world is aware of what is happening and because people are succumbing to this mysterious ailment, there is no one making it down the mountain safe enough to reach someone for help. In the news, a huge storm is forecasted, thus the kids must decide whether to forge their potential fate or take the trip down.
Alexander, Carly, and the Blood Farm (OLD AND BAD)
In Bradford High School in Georgia, and in the town itself, Alexander could easily be considered one of, if not the school's best basketball underdog. But in more recent times, all of that may be thrown out the window all together. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In Bradford, Georgia, everything seems and feels different than the rest. The townspeople there are known for four main things. Camping, hiking, and fun around the two local lakes, mass wildlife hunting, the basketball players at its highschool, and it's tragedy from the mid-19th century resulting in its many overlooked adaptations during the time of Autumn around the date of the accident. However, things begin to stir up once a pair of sisters show up with unknown and unclear intentions. But soon, they attract the attention of Alexander Phillips, referred to as one of the Bradford Baskatball Heros of the school's basketball team. Not long after though, several citizens are found dead with a murderer left on their town's hands. Luckily, it doesn't take very long for Alexander, the younger sister Carly, and many others to realize what's going on behind the curtain, leaving them in a race against time to save their town and maybe even the world from the paranormal wrath of the tragedy's fallout. This work is inspired by (including but not limited to): "Stranger Things" by the Duffer Brothers, "Scary Stories to tell in the dark" by CBS Films, Halloween Kills by Universal Pictures, and likely a lot more that I didn't mention(but if you see your/someone else's content, I DIDN'T WILLINGLY COPY THEM OK).Concluida
