Careful what you wish for

Ace Spade was anything but normal. He belonged to the most powerful royal family in the world. Able to get anything he's ever wanted yet has no desire for any of that. Maybe that is why he lost his family all except the king, his dear uncle who had a ruthless and cold heart who was driven mad by the fact his one true love was taken and murdered for even being associated with him. His uncle may have been crazy and grew to resent those around him all except his nephew who he saw so much of himself in. During the kings madness he declared war to avenge his lovers death but the cost was his family, remaining no one but Ace. Soon the king grew sick and has come to peace with what has happened, but before dying he relinquished his crown to Ace.

Years went by and Ace's life has been miserable, never found a reason to live but continued on knowing he could never leave his people to the hands of anyone. Ace has made a wish every day since he could remember, to one day find a reason to live but live like no other has. And he may have gotten his wish but who says its what he imagined?
