for the past four years, all melanie has known is hating mason. after two years of bickering, pointless fights, and stubborn apologies, melanies twin was sick of it, and eventually ended up unfriending the boy. for two years after that, she finally had peace and quiet up until the day she was cast in a horror movie with mason as her love interest. she seriously thought about denying the offer, but if you deny or back out of a role, the rest of hollywood won't want to hire you so that wasn't an option. she just had to suck it up and play his love interest.
mason had no idea what he was doing when he called melanie ugly. he thought it would get a laugh out of the rest of the friendgroup--but it didn't--so he truly just fucked everything up. he fucked up his chance with melanie and he fucked up his friendship with malachi. mason was actually quite ecstatic when he found out him and melanie were filming together. it gave him a chance to make things right. but when he found out what a stubborn, grudge holding bitch she is, he lost all self control.
