Convincing Athena

After being promoted to partner at her law firm and being proposed by her boyfriend of 5 years Athena Barnes should feel happy. But as she starts getting everything she wanted she figures out that maybe this is not what she needs. During a trip home she meets an unkempt, bearded man named Clay who just won't leave her alone. With the things going on in her life this man's entry is not welcome but as the days pass she can't help but want him there.

All Clay Owens has done in his life is research and travel. So when he meets Athena on his first day back after a backpacking trip and finally finds a woman who can hold his interest he decides he will do whatever it takes to make her consider giving him a chance. But he didn't realise he was competing with a job that gave her barely any time to sleep and a boyfriend who was never there for her but was not willing to let her go.
