Meet X. He's a blank-faced, carbon copy of Madelyn Grove. Whenever he's around, he's bathed in sunlight. So much sun that you can't see his face. He's known as a shadow, but that's quite offensive so don't use that word in front of him.
He's shadowed too many people to remember - too many people who take his existence for granted.

Stiles can't sleep, and if he told enough people that was all it was, maybe he would start to believe it. Still, as tensions were rising about them losing their territory he couldn't bother them with something he didn't even fully understand. Maybe he just needed something fun and easy to help him relax. I gripped the pan and smacked the figure twice on the head when I saw the shadow. "Ow why are you doing that?!" I heard him groan. For good measure I smacked him two more times. "What do you want?" I asked. I don't know why I was making conversation and not telling him to get out. "Oh yes okay, the blows to the head threw me off" he laughed. "I'm here to collect your soul" he smiles. "I'm not dead" I inform him. He comes close and I move back, "oh sorry this must be weird let me change into a form better suited for this plane".
