Laura Marano - abused, tortured and tormented - is completely focused on her future, and ignoring her past and the present. Each and every day that passes, means one more day that she can get out of that hellhole. But as the story unravels, we see how truly broken and vulnerable she has become.
Ross just wants to be her knight in shining armour; he wants to protect her from all the bad happening in the world. But Laura doesn't want him to. He saw her than night - that night when everything came crumbling down, and left a new nightmare planted in Laura's head, leaving a permanent scar. He, just wants to be there for her.
This isn't your normal romance book. This book explores the ideas of honesty, friendship, lies and abuse. And somehow, we get love tied up in all of this. This book will have a couple of parts, in which I will slowly unravel the true after effects of an abused life.

So they were opposites .In some ways at least .Why did they hate each other? Well it had to do with a little incident when they were only 5 .The day they first meet.They now have that sexual tension and the fact that they were both hot didn't help .
