Every year, one person is chosen to be the Heartbreaker: the person who must break four girls/boys hearts in a day, the day before homecoming. And for the past three years, they've been chosen from Tabytha Hoffheins's year. Alex Cross, Beckett Dyle, and Dylan Asler. Everyone's expecting another boy - mainly Ryley Morrer, the new foreign exchange student who Tabytha hates with a passion.
