When Evelyn Fortner goes to camp with her best friend Holly Shy, things get hectic. TJ Smith is determined to make their time horrible. With four of the seven days are left, TJ surprises both girls. He is caught reading from a really old book called The Story Of Old Europe And Young America. The girls wait until he's gone and then sneaks the book from the boys cabin. The book has even more surprising things. It was copyrighted in 1910. Three old, yellowed papers with the date of 1912 on them are found in it. Finally, the papers all talk about the Titanic's sinking. One is an article about the survivors. Another seems to have been ripped from a book or something. The girls read it and are in for an even bigger surprise. Turns out, time does fly when you can live for longer than a Red Wood tree.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
