Ryder is an average teenage boy in his small village. However, his country’s government has hand selected him for their “special project”. He is kidnapped in the middle of the night, and wakes up in an underground bunker with another 99 people. There is a timer, counting down to what? The end of the rest of life on Earth. They are trapped underground for three days, until the doors automatically unlock, releasing the participants of the government’s twisted game. The group encounters many challenging obstacles, especially when they bump into more survivors. These people seem a bit off… Someone jokingly suggested they were robots. Could that be possible? Who is real? Who is bionic? What do the bionics want?

~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out. I'm well known as The Bad Ass for reasons that are kind of obvious once you meet me. Maybe that's why they're after me? Because I'm a Bad Ass? Nope, I doubt that. Well anyways, the answers are out there. Along with the answers to my past. The answer to life even. Maybe it really is 42 but I don't think it would hurt to start looking at one. So here we go. FORMERLY KNOW AS MY GREEN-EYED JERK. With a secret so deep and dark it's enough to destroy him, Jayden can't help but find refuge in his two-sided life. When Sam and Ryder meet due to certain unforeseen circumstances, Sam has a hard time figuring him out(not that she wanted to either, her situation just demanded it). This book follows four teenagers from four different parts of the U.S. when their lives are dramatically changed one day. When zombies become real and more than just horror movies and scary books, they're forced to fight to stay alive. What they don't know is how similar their struggles are, along with their goal: get to the supposed safe haven alive. (The book is under editing right now, and I'll be changing the location of the safe haven from Columbus to Cincinnati. I didn't really think it through when I first wrote this but I think that Cincinnati would make a little more sense. Sorry for any confusion!) *************** BEING REWRITTEN I started writing this at 14, and it started out as something I made just for fun. The story was mostly imporvised, and I don't like how it's turned out. I've had a lot of new and hopefully more interesting ideas, and there's so much that I decided to rewrite the whole thing completely. The story will be very different but the characters will be the same for the most part. It'll have the same style of writing with the different points of view, but separated between books instead of chapters, and I already have a storyline laid for the first 2 or 3.
