With the aftermath of the Star Trek Destiny series, Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets are in massive disarray. Starfleet itself has few ships left to defend the tattered fleet, the USS Voyager NCC 74065 herself is badly damaged with only one remaining warp nacelle. The starships USS Enterprise NCC 1701-E, USS Aventine NCC 82602, and USS Titan NCC 80102 are among the few ships still in active service and ready to defend the Federation. The only good news that the Federation can take greatness in is the fact that the Caeliar have erased the Borg from existence from the known universe, all that is left is Caeliar. The Caeliar have begun their new mission of finding and protecting cultures of peace and nonviolence so that perhaps someday in the distant future, the meek really can inherit the universe.

With what Starfleet is hoping will be a new found peace for the entire Alpha, Beta and Gamma Quadrants, also brings about more despair. The past is now in danger of being destroyed. With the destruction of one ship all that was to be never existed. As the old Earth starship NX-02 Columbia gets ready to return to Earth orbit a scourge from the farthest off galaxy makes its move on the Milky Way and the entire Federation and its allies.

From the early days of Starfleet, one thing was clear; no member of Starfleet was to interfere with the timeline or directly with alien cultures. Centuries later that very directive was tested and broken to protect the outcome of history.

War, a devastating war has come to the Federation and before it is over, history will have been forged and broken, lives will be changed and companionship will come out of despair. For those who couldn't legally have a relationship without suffering the consequences, this is their undying hour, the moment to let their love shine through.

The novel started as a short story that was submitted to a writing contest (didn't win). It is very loosely based upon the Babylon 5 Universe (telepaths, shadows, plethora of different races, etc.). I still continued to think about the story and how it ended without a final resolution (though the story did have an ending, it left a lot of questions about the protagonist). Thanks to the obsession and compulsion I have with writing (it's a blessing and a curse) I decided to continue the story to final resolution. This is it. A race called the Chitoxan came from an unknown area of space and declared war on the races making up the Earth-Alliance. More technically advanced than the races they encounter, the overwhelming power of the shadow vessels results in most battles ending in complete defeat for the Earth-Alliance. Only by massing fire on an individual shadow vessel or, in extremely desperate situations, committing suicide with a ship's reactor overload, can a shadow vessel be defeated. Earth and Earth-alliance colonies are slowly being conquered and occupied by Chitoxa. The humans on these occupied colonies are enslaved and forced to serve the Chitoxan's every need. A young man volunteers for the Space Marines during the Chitoxan war. Upon induction, he discovers that he is 'blessed' with unique abilities. However, these abilities cause his life to be changed drastically and terribly. He is taken away and forced into a never-ending nightmare. After a quick and violent encounter between Earth and Chitoxa, another Earth fleet is beaten and is almost wiped out. The surviving ship gets a lucky shot at an attacking shadow vessel, slicing off one of its appendages. The pain and shock of the loss does something to the human controller of the battle crab....

USS Enterprise (CV-6), a floating city of steel. After a stellar service career in World War 2. She was decommissioned in 1958. She's the only ship that earned 20 battle stars. And a presidential unit citation. In an alternate world war 2 timeline. She was called into action along with other ship girls to fight an alien race from another dimension called Sirens. They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again. That was until she's seen serving as a member of the US Secret Service under a new name and identity. Will she go back to her original duties or will she remain working for the Secret Service? Find out in Enterprise's New Life.

(DISCLAIMER: I own nothing from Azur lane, Azur lane is owned by Manjuu and Yongshi, along with others parties who made content officially associated with them. I only own the Main character and other side characters of this story, along with THIS Story of which I am to Write. All other images/audio used in the writing of this story belong to their respective owners (this is my first Azur lane Story, so please be respectful) Humanity had a dream to Explore and conquer the oceans , But that all changed when an unknown enemy appeared known as the "Sirens" humans were pushed out of the Seas by the Sirens advanced weaponry and humanity began to descend into a Dark age. Siren attacks had become frequent enough that humans were on the Brink of annihilation. However one Day humanity found a way to fight back against the other worldly threats, using mysterious objects known as wisdom cubes, the K.A.N.S.E.N. were created from said cubes. With the power of Warships embedded into their bodies, they allowed humanity to fight Back against the Sirens and begin to reclaim what was once lost. But divisions in beliefs on how to deal with the Sirens, threaten to obscure the original threat they came together to fight and turn humanity and its protectors against each other, either caused by siren influence or the actions and beliefs of major nations leaders, or a little bit of both, one thing is for certain. No matter when or where it happens.... War, War never changes. However sometimes all it takes is a small change somewhere, a Flap of the wings of a butterfly, an Action taken, or an Action not taken. The Smallest changes can Alter how history will play out. The Bigger question I would like to Ask... What will be the catalyst that starts the winds of Change THIS time?

During the Xindi War, the Enterprise was thrown back in time, to 2037. Trapped in the Delphic Expanse and afraid of contaminating the correct timeline, the crew concentrate on themselves - and a bit on each other - as the reality of their situation sets in. Tempers flare. Discipline wavers. Depression runs rampant. But there's a light at the end of that subspace corridor, if they could only see it. What happened between 2037 and 2154? Was the crew proud of ANY of it?
