With the aftermath of the Star Trek Destiny series, Starfleet and the United Federation of Planets are in massive disarray. Starfleet itself has few ships left to defend the tattered fleet, the USS Voyager NCC 74065 herself is badly damaged with only one remaining warp nacelle. The starships USS Enterprise NCC 1701-E, USS Aventine NCC 82602, and USS Titan NCC 80102 are among the few ships still in active service and ready to defend the Federation. The only good news that the Federation can take greatness in is the fact that the Caeliar have erased the Borg from existence from the known universe, all that is left is Caeliar. The Caeliar have begun their new mission of finding and protecting cultures of peace and nonviolence so that perhaps someday in the distant future, the meek really can inherit the universe.

With what Starfleet is hoping will be a new found peace for the entire Alpha, Beta and Gamma Quadrants, also brings about more despair. The past is now in danger of being destroyed. With the destruction of one ship all that was to be never existed. As the old Earth starship NX-02 Columbia gets ready to return to Earth orbit a scourge from the farthest off galaxy makes its move on the Milky Way and the entire Federation and its allies.

  ****

From the early days of Starfleet, one thing was clear; no member of Starfleet was to interfere with the timeline or directly with alien cultures. Centuries later that very directive was tested and broken to protect the outcome of history.

War, a devastating war has come to the Federation and before it is over, history will have been forged and broken, lives will be changed and companionship will come out of despair. For those who couldn't legally have a relationship without suffering the consequences, this is their undying hour, the moment to let their love shine through.

Toumia by Allie_Luthel
8 parts Complete
After barely fighting off a fleet of Galra ships, Voltron lands on the planet Toumia that is surrounded by three suns, humbly expecting thanks, gratitude, and food. Not necessarily in that order. However, as soon as they land on the ground, the leader of the Ibhe Htua, Pedagogue Tuaste, tells them that they did a good job, but there's a lot to learn before they even have a hope of defeating Zarkon and his evil empire. Grudgingly, they accept her offer to train them. However, a new threat to the universe arises soon after they land on Toumia, one that is completely unrelated to Zarkon and the Galra Empire. One of the many societies on the planet with purple grass has developed a way to help the universe, but the Voltron Team knows that this will do anything but help the universe, and that they must stop it at all costs. Together, the five Paladins make up Voltron, Defender of the Universe. And what do defenders of the universe do? They defend it. * * * The timeline for this fanfiction within seasons 1-2 of VLD are unknown, for reasons that will be clear by the end of this particular fanfiction. As such, the characters will know how to do certain things, and not know other things. Because of this, there will be spoilers for some things but not others, and seeing as this happens somewhere within the spacetime between the episodes of seasons 1 and 2. It's weird. Hang with me, it'll all make sense by chapter sixteen. Maybe fifteen. I haven't written that far out yet. And just as a forewarning: in this, I will be doing several play-on-word jokes that may seem offensive. THEY ARE NOT. Google the meanings of said words, and you'll see why I made them, if you're that mad. They're funny, mostly because of the reactions of the characters. Also, don't take this too seriously. There is literally no forth wall in this, which is really fun to write. Good luck, and may the Force be with you.
Arcane Continued by WiseGirl4912

(I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. The whole cult-exploding put a rift in their relationship, but they are mending and expanding it slowly.
Is You Is Or Is You Ain't My Baby? by gothicmork

Laurie's a junior Star Fleet pilot in the war against the Borg, he's crashed on one of the Hainish moons of the planet Winter, and he's pretty much buggered. Not in a good way either. Then he's picked up by Sandy Reid, Star Fleet Medical Officer, also not in a good way. Treated to some of the good meds, and dragged off to a Star Fleet queer party, he's having an eventful day, and war. Of course, in the meantime he's been presumed dead. So it's a bit of a surprise to his old school pash, Vulcan officer Ralph Lanyon, when he turns up onboard... Notes: Basically a Harlequinny novelette, a serialized woman's weekly magazine romance - with added Vulcans. I really feel that there ought to be a special warning for that. In addition to copious amounts of Star Trek and particularly Vulcans, you will also find a lot of Ursula le Guin's Hainish Federation/Cycle, a bit of Firefly and some Left Hand of Darkness. A little bit of Firefly in my life, a little bit of Ursula by my side... Because, this is important, ALL THE FUTURE SF WORLDS ALL TOGETHER ALL THE TIME. The warnings I have included are not strictly applicable but used due to discussion of the issues involved. In the course of research, I must note that I discovered that a villanelle is also known as a villanesque, which, huh, pretty wonderful huh? Titles that nearly happened: Schrodinger's Sweetheart, Perversely Romantic, and what the hey, Villanesque too. Maybe someday. Actual title from the Louis Armstrong song. All rights reserved.
Escaping My Shadows by dwatkins77

The novel started as a short story that was submitted to a writing contest (didn't win). It is very loosely based upon the Babylon 5 Universe (telepaths, shadows, plethora of different races, etc.). I still continued to think about the story and how it ended without a final resolution (though the story did have an ending, it left a lot of questions about the protagonist). Thanks to the obsession and compulsion I have with writing (it's a blessing and a curse) I decided to continue the story to final resolution. This is it. A race called the Chitoxan came from an unknown area of space and declared war on the races making up the Earth-Alliance. More technically advanced than the races they encounter, the overwhelming power of the shadow vessels results in most battles ending in complete defeat for the Earth-Alliance. Only by massing fire on an individual shadow vessel or, in extremely desperate situations, committing suicide with a ship's reactor overload, can a shadow vessel be defeated. Earth and Earth-alliance colonies are slowly being conquered and occupied by Chitoxa. The humans on these occupied colonies are enslaved and forced to serve the Chitoxan's every need. A young man volunteers for the Space Marines during the Chitoxan war. Upon induction, he discovers that he is 'blessed' with unique abilities. However, these abilities cause his life to be changed drastically and terribly. He is taken away and forced into a never-ending nightmare. After a quick and violent encounter between Earth and Chitoxa, another Earth fleet is beaten and is almost wiped out. The surviving ship gets a lucky shot at an attacking shadow vessel, slicing off one of its appendages. The pain and shock of the loss does something to the human controller of the battle crab....

15 years after the Empire's fall at the battle of Jakku, Justice for the Lost picks up the story where Resurgence left off. Having gained a foothold in enemy space, Big Boss' Army will need to establish new supply lines and seize key manufacturing systems from former Colonel Andral Escher, enigmatic operator of the hive mind of droids pulling the Remnant Empire's strings in this sector... not to mention the Imperial Remnant itself. In the Republic, a Chiss pirate threatens the hard earned peace by attacking centers of government and military installations with a growing armada of unknown and ancient origin. Believing her to be a student of their former mentor, Obbic'larr'amori (Clarra) enlists Big Boss' help in facing this new threat. And while Lady Erika takes care of unfinished family business, Jorgan and Frida resolve to rejoin the Army of the Sun in secret to rescue Master Rael from Nemo's clutches. NOTE: My story broke continuity with the current Disney timeline as of the Ahsoka series, which contradicts the fates of several characters in my works up to that point. I reserve the right to recycle plot points, species, and characters introduced by it as all works prior to that are still canon within my Original Star Wars stories Setting: 20 ABY, Unknown Regions; 19 ABY, Hutt space Characters: Lady Erika, Big Boss, Clarra, Jorgan, Frida, Erlkönig Other characters: Master Rael, Nym Shim, Duggo Ordo, Drovork-12 Villains: Nemo, Rosala, Lorelei

USS Enterprise (CV-6), a floating city of steel. After a stellar service career in World War 2. She was decommissioned in 1958. She's the only ship that earned 20 battle stars. And a presidential unit citation. In an alternate world war 2 timeline. She was called into action along with other ship girls to fight an alien race from another dimension called Sirens. They pushed away humanity from the high seas. Humanity formed an alliance called Azur Lane. The alliance consisted of all the major countries that fought each other during the second world war. Azur Lane was able to repulse the Sirens and brought back peace in the planet. At this point all of the ship girls returned to their normal state. Some went back to the very waters where they were sunk. Others became ship museums. The ones turned into museums were considered the lucky ones. But not for Enterprise. Her scrapping is inevitable. The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time. The ship girls from the past have been recalled back into action. Many of the nations thought that Enterprise will never be seen again. That was until she's seen serving as a member of the US Secret Service under a new name and identity. Will she go back to her original duties or will she remain working for the Secret Service? Find out in Enterprise's New Life.
