For only a mere day, a few in the know of Joey's journey soon grows into a few dozen, and soon a few thousand all thanks to a social-media account titled, "Joey and the Road-Trippers." After that, their adventure is exposed for all the world to see. As Joey and his trek explode, things started coming up roses. Yet, this is a teenage-driven road-trip, so it's in the cards that something is bound to go awry. From a circle of identical brothers to encounters with less-than--delighted relatives, no road-trip can be left without flaws. As the strings of lights shines down upon this cautionary, traditional American road-trip with its panic, pleasure, and pain, the group makes a pact- to never let their parents find out. (This was my final project in a Creative Writing class last year, and due to quarantine, I decided to opt for an easier, more fun piece to write.
