Everyone in this world wants to be accepted, but suppose no matter how much you try you never achieve? I'm a princess, Heela Hall, and I thought I would be born with acceptance but I was wrong. They all hated me for things I don't even remember doing but I am sorry for. I thought if I locked the parts of me away that they didn't like, I would finally be accepted not only by my kingdom but by myself. But something went wrong. I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! My real life experience with fiction added :) Returning from my six year hiatus with a new book....my bad.
