An AU Avengers story.
They're out for her blood. After stealing an artefact famed for sending a creature of red and silver to her planet more than 500 years ago, she throws herself into more danger, misadventures and chaos whilst managing to dodge death and intergalactic police, 'humanoid-aliens' and... other creatures... on a regular basis. But there's a glitch. Something goes wrong as she activates the machine. A gas is let out. And the after-effect? She's dying.
