Faraway on the South American continent of Manaus, Brazil lies a factory. Thousands of girls are sent here every year to help with the industries. It's a terrible place to be at. At Raolo factory they treat you like dirt. When Calypso Williams is sent there she immediately tries to find a way to escape. Her first plan didn't turnout so well. At fourteen my life was flipped upside down. And not for good. I was held captive for many years. I didn't know the day, year or month it was. I didn't know whether I was far away from home, or beside it. How much of my life had I missed? How much had my kidnapper stolen from me? And would I ever find my family again?
