When adolescent Dylan discovers an unfinished timeline of her life, which shows the date of her death, not the year, she becomes determined to make her life memorable. Her story, like everyone else's has an ending, but a different one, no doubt. But the thing Dylan is worried about if she'll have a story at all. 

Short story version, full story to be completed once inspiration hits a currently wildly uncreative writer.

He raises his voice going on about himself. I doubt he really cared for Birdie all that much. He's never met her. This is an ego thing.
