Cassidy is an ordinary school girl who thinks of herself as just that. She coincidently gets thrown into a high school where the famous magcon members go to. However, Cassidy met Jack first and has been extremely close friends with her. He has always seen her as the standout but she doesn't think of him as anything but a friend... A hot and cute friend, although, she doesn't exactly like him more than a friend.
When Jack asks Cassidy out for the Year 10 Formal (pretend they are in year 10) and they dance together, she starts to form feelings for him. Major feelings. He was her only thought. But then, as the weeks went by, without him speaking to her, she starts thinks that Jack doesn't actually like her but only wanted to be good friends with her. Turns out, he was planning a way to ask her out. Her feelings for him start to fade and Jack is preparing to ask her out on a date. And this would be a big deal; the most popular guy asking out an average girl. What would the girls at their school think? And what would happen if she rejected him? Yes, the girls would be relieved, but how would Jack react to the humiliation?
