Heterochromia Iridium is the difference in color of the iris in the two eyes, or in different areas in the same iris. That’s exactly what Ivory Moore has. Ever since birth she has had to live with having to different colored irises. So how does someone live with the stares and whispers that come with having Heterochromia Iridium? By wearing sunglasses everyday of course! Since 6th grade Ivory has been collecting Ray-Ban sunglasses and wearing them to school. So no one in her school knows about her two different colored eyes, except her sister Avery and she plans to keep it that way. But, that might be a challenge since she sticks out like a sore thumb in her school that's filled with a bunch of Malibu Barbie clones. With her long black hair and pale white skin it's very easy to pick her out in the sea of tan, blonde students. And it's especially easy for the new student Kylor Braun to pick her out. Ivory doesn't even notice his presence until he starts hanging around the house with her sister. Kylor's bickering over her glasses and constant attempts to get to know her when her sisters not looking are driving her insane and she wants nothing more than for him to leave her alone so she can just finish her last year of high school in peace.

But nothing ever goes as planned in these kinds of situations.
