As we all know, life isn't only rainbows and sunshine.
That's pretty evident. 
We all have those days (sometimes even weeks, months, or years) in which we find no relief in waking up from terrible dreams. 
In this section, I won't be sugar coating my raw feelings, because there's no point in it. 
Being real with someone is the greatest thing you can do, because nobody is perfect. That is the point I will be making in this section of my work.

I'm about to tell you a story about a girl. A normal girl. A girl that had no cares in the world, until her trust for it was stripped away. When you read her story, you'll find yourself trusting her, loving her, rooting for her. But you see, not everyone gets to trust the world. Not everyone has a happy ending. --- Halfway through the kiss however, his attitude changed; instead of being a loving embrace, it became a fierce trap. His grip on her waist tightened, trapped her where she was instead of simply holding her where he wanted her. The hand in her hair grabbed a section of it, enforcing his demand for her not to go anywhere. Before she knew what was happening, he left go of her hair, and pushed her to the ground. She gasped, suddenly able to breathe. He stood up and walked over to her. He placed a soft hand on her cheek, just like he used to when he was telling her how special she was to him. None of the emotion was there this time however, all she could feel radiating from his was rage. "You shouldn't have run off, babe," he said bitterly. "I was about to show you how much I loved you. Instead, I now have to show you what happens when you anger me." --- The men regarded her, before she was shoved to the ground and one produced a whip. There, laying broken on the floor, as the other girls watched, she was whipped. Slowly, she felt her skin breaking in time with her heart and her will.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... This would be really boring. You don't need to waste time reading this. Not just boring, it might be even heartbreaking. The story was still going on, and therefore I had no idea whether it would end in a tragedy or not, but I had a feeling it would. And it did. We broke up under the striking, burning sun of 19th September, 2016. I write usually in a monotone description, therefore don't judge if you read this. My name is Rue, and I wish my life could be like the picture I put as a cover of my story, colourful, calm, and with a soulmate who keeps loving me all the way. However, things never happen as what we would like them to happen. I don't love my life, but I want to remember all that once happened. I want to look back one day, when I'm fully grown, and smile or tell my old self right now that I'm dumb. Mostly and lastly, I just want to remember him, the one I very much remember right now, but will fade in times to come. It is already fading now, and I only hope that I can write them all before they disappear from my mind, forever...

I'm lost. Broken. And nobody knows. I help people, and when you help people, you don't get help. I couldn't look at myself think how a mess I was. It was too late for me to be fixed. Nobody could help me. I was too deep in it for being saved. I had too many scars and thought. I already had a broken mind. When I tried to kill myself and failed at it, they brought me to a mental facility. There I meet other teens with different stories and each with their problems. The longer I'm here, the more stories I get the knowledge. We come together to tell our stories so that we can move on from what hurt us in the past and what waits for us in the future. We're all strangers, but we're all living in this messed-up place call life. So can we overcome our broken minds. -2014-
