Reiko Miyasaki is a 16 year old Australian/Japanese girl who is in hiding from a certain organisation. After the death of her father, Reiko inherits the responsibility of being the most powerful mage there is. She locates spies from the organisation in and around the school, forgetting that they are magic dolls that work for them. When her classmate Shida is up against trouble, it's her job to help him. Once she realises the importance of carrying a powerful mage's blood, she focuses all her attention on the protection of the books. The sacred grimoires are more significant than anybody realises, and only the most powerful mage can crack all of the codes without the writer's help.
