DO YOU TRUST YOUR LEADERS? WOULD YOU DIE FOR THEM?

"The hostile stench of blood was everywhere, crouching in the sweaty air like a pride of Ignian Leech Jackals, reeking of death..."

It is the year 7056. In a solar system hundreds of light years from Earth, the broken and weary human race is suffering under the totalitarian rule of a corrupt Empress. Seduced by her own greed she hides a deadly secret that could bring about the annihilation of humanity. Will the greatest conspiracy of all time go undiscovered?

But revolution is stirring. Slave girl Aliya Soter and rebel pilot Miriam Ferox are plunged into a daring race against time as a mysterious anomaly hurtles towards the solar system. The slave colonies are revolting, the stock markets are poised on the brink of collapse, and overhanging everything are the forbidden rumours of a mysterious resistance force...

Can they bring down the Empire once and for all? But all is not as it seems. And with this simple realisation it becomes clear, this is just the beginning of something far greater.

Highest Rank: #1 Alien 6-21-21 WARNING: This contains Xenophile (Alien / Human smut) If you don't find interest then that, this is not the place to be. Thanks! Or Skip the chapter. 18+ ______________________ The year is 3999. Nearly a thousand years after a alien infection was set loose by the intelligent lifeforms know as Irinaut. No one knows exactly how they were able to make such a infection, but it was capable of destroying nearly all life on Earth. Those who couldn't hide or make it to the ships to escape their home planet, were left for the Irinauts. These alien lifeforms were capable of controlling human bodies, infecting them with their black dust, impregnating fertile human female's, and growing the Irinaut's massive companions, the Yeti's, a less evolved version of the Irinaut. Earth is gone. Nothing more then a ball of dust. After the people fled on ships, they traveled to their new hope. It was a place of solitude. The human race was able to flee from the foreign infection, but for how long? Luna was frozen on the ship. For nearly a 200 years, their ship had traveled. Many people had been placed in a cryogenic state. That of which kept them from aging as they made their way out of the infection. For them, a place of safety, The Solar Sun. The Solar Sun space ship was the closest landing unit in the solar system. Many others would have to be traveled to after refueling and preparing for another two or three centuries of being in a cryogenic state. For Luna, the girl hopes that space would be her escape from the aliens that destroyed their Earth, but that was only the beginning. Upon arrival, the ship is found infested. Luna and a small team of scientists had come in hopes for finding a cure for the strange virus, only to find the virus had taken over most of The Solar Sun, following a few escaped Irinauts. The Solar Sun is their last hope, and their last escape from these beings, but what's to be found there will change everything.

❖ Interstellar pilot and ex-adventurer Alex Gallegos must keep their team safe on an icy moon as sentient storms threaten to repeat the tragedy that ended their last career. ❖ Everyone in the United Inhabited Solar Systems (for some reason, UIS for short) knows to stay away from Mahaha. The icy moon is notorious for failed probe landings and research missions that end in tragedy: the only people to ever venture to its surface needed rescuing after just two weeks. When a prestigious research group decides they want a turn, they ask Alex Gallegos to lead the team. Perfectly qualified and haunted by their past, Alex accepts, hoping to make up for old mistakes and get just a little further from the earth they've left behind. Two months into the seven-month mission, the team is struggling with discontent, damaged equipment, and blizzards acting less and less like normal weather. As Mahaha moves out of range of help and the storms take on a more malicious character, Alex must face the one foe they could never have prepared for. Mahaha may or may not be alive. ❖❖❖ Complete. Wattys 2021 Shortlister. Standalone sequel (Rocks Can Dance) coming in 2023. Comments and critiques are both welcome and appreciated. The System's Empress by LimitlessNL
14 parts Ongoing Mature
When history professor Miranda Chen wakes up in the body of a palace maid in an alternate imperial China, she discovers she's been gifted with a mysterious "System" that promises one thing: follow its tasks, and she'll rise to become Empress. But in the deadly halls of the Western Aurelian Empire, where poison flows as freely as wine and whispers carry more power than swords, Miranda will need more than modern knowledge to survive. As she navigates labyrinthine politics and ancient traditions, her strange abilities catch the attention of the enigmatic Emperor Alexander-a man bound by duty yet haunted by the golden cage of his inheritance. What begins as political maneuvering evolves into forbidden glances, secret meetings in moonlit gardens, and an alliance neither of them expected. With each level she gains in the System, Miranda uncovers not just new powers, but deeper conspiracies threatening the empire. The cold-eyed Dowager Empress watches her every move, while jealous concubines plot her downfall and ambitious ministers circle like vultures. As Miranda rises from invisible servant to the emperor's most trusted confidante, she must answer the question burning in her heart: Is she using the System to manipulate her way to power, or has she truly fallen for the one man she can never have? And when the moment of choice arrives, will Alexander choose centuries of tradition or risk everything for a love that defies the very foundations of his empire? In a world where every smile hides a dagger and every courtesy masks calculation, Miranda will discover that the greatest power isn't granted by any System-it's forged in the crucible of survival, sacrifice, and the courage to rewrite destiny itself.
