When I first heard One Direction's "She's Not Afraid" on their newest album, Take Me Home, I immediately got ideas to write a fanfiction inspired by the song's lyrics. Harry goes to football and tries to make new friends but that doesn't work so you know he walks up to the 18 year old coach Louis Tomlinson and tries to be friends with him and you know Harry. Louis becomes his acquaintance than friend then crush and then Louis rejects him for being older than him but deeply inside we all know Louis has a little crush for the curly headed boy and drools when he's around him but yeah that's the typical love story.

I had to try and write this, so this is Harry and Louis from the beginning to end with glimpses of their lives together. Purely fictional. Some smut. I started "Innocent" as a 13 year old and finished it as a 17 year old, and you can tell. If there are any cringe mistakes feel free to point them out. Whenever I read this I feel annoyed at myself cause of all the mistakes and I'm too lazy to fix and locate SO MANY of them. I can't decide on a cover so it may look different over time

So @franzixidfc contacted me and asked if I couldn't write a book on her idea and this is the result. I tried to follow the basic storyline and added some myself. Harry and Louis were best friends when they were kids until Harry had to move away. Harry returned at the age 17 to his home town to live with his aunt. The kids in Ireland bullied him for the way he dressed. In his new school Harry noticed a loner that everyone called Tommo. There was something familiar with the boy but Harry doesn't make the connection at first. Instead he tried to befriend the boy because he knew how it felt to be alone but Tommo wasn't interested in making friends. Purely fictional. Triggerwarning: weed smoking
