(Maya) "I mean... there's something but I'm not sure if I like you or if I just want to keep you safe." (Mason) "I understand... One day, though, I'll make you fall for me." (Maya) "You can't make someone fall for you." (Mason) "I can and I will. You'll see." - he smirks. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ A girl that is betrayed by her boss and a gang leader that sees the beauty in her. They'll have to face the enemies in Chicago but will they survive through hell? Fully Edited * A mature story that contains strong language and sexual content.* **I realized that this doesn't happen in many books, or none (I haven't read a book where this type of writing was used) but I want to let you know that during the story and when the characters speak, the person's name is in between brackets before the speech. Simply because it would probably get confusing if there wasn't anything that could distinguish who is talking after the speech. I hope you find it convenient during your reading.**

There was something about him. Or maybe there was something about me. I didn't want him in my life but he ran into it; literally. He liked to hide in trees, irritate me, and read books; despite the fact that it went against his image. He was more than meets the eye. Although at first I didn't want to know more. He lured me in like an unsuspecting moth to an open flame. Knowing the dangers I went in, wanting to know more. It could hurt me but it was too irresistible and I was drawn in. This isn't how the bad boy made me bad or about how I made him good. This is about how we changed each other lives. In good and bad ways. Whatever that means. "I don't bite.... hard." He smirked at me, winking one of his bright hazel eyes at me. It only made me more frustrated. "Yeah but Hunter, if you did you'd probably give me rabies." I rolled my eyes looking back at the book in my hand.
