No one wants to hear the words "you have cancer." However, the truth is, more and more people hear those words everyday. I heard those words when I was only thirteen years old. I learned that cancer doesn't care how old you are, if you have a family, or if you're healthy. Cancer doesn't care about you or your feelings. I also learned that in some ways, cancer can be a good thing. It can bring you closer to the ones you love and change your perspective on life. "The Good Cancer" is my personal cancer journey. He makes friends with seven other kids in the hospital with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and decide to fight their cancer together.
