Hooked • Harry Hook ✔
"Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone. His hair was stuck on his forehead and the smudged eyeliner created a trace of dark lining on his face, making him look hauntingly. The man gazed at my form in amazement and wonder before they captured mine again, sending an icy cold sensation coursing through my vein, making me shiver. He was frightening and breathtaking at the same time. "A mermaid, aye?" he questioned as his gaze trailed down the length of my body. Grabbing my arms with one hand, he caressed my face gently, his thumb grazing my parted lips before they went below my hair twirling a single piece. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"Complete
Choices Affect Everyone COMPLETE
Tension between mermaids and humans had always been high, especially after the queen of the mermaids had been killed by humans, regardless that it was an accident. So many years later when Princess Muriel becomes curious about humans, she keeps it to herself. Muriel lives in a castle with her father, sisters, and best friend, Percy. Some of her sisters blame her for their mother's death so Muriel avoids them when at all possible. She gains an interest in humans and trails after their ships. For humans, mermaids are bad luck so she knows that they won't attempt to harm her. The first time Prince Philip steps foot on a fishing boat he witnesses the crew catch a mermaid. Although terrified, he moves forward to help untangle her as no one else is moving. He prays that she'll forgive him. Worry forms when she takes a lock of his hair. Was that a way of marking him? Regardless, he doesn't fight, not wanting to make it worse. Worry increases when she's spotted again. Muriel begins to develop a crush on Prince Philip after he frees her from the net. When her sister's displeasure with her grows worse, Muriel seeks to avoid it. In a desperate attempt to do so she finds herself cave of the sea witch Minerva. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers. Philip's bodyguard begins to catch on that Muriel is different and Percy and the king quickly become desperate to find her. My own version of "The Little Mermaid" by Hans Christian Andersen. When Mermen Run From Their Demons
Parts 1/4 are done. Part 2 is being written. (ManxMan) Zac Triton is nobody's hero, especially after the events that led to his mother's death. When he's around, the sound of his voice alone can make you do things. Anything. Whatever he wants. You cannot trust him, or even yourself when he's around. But people forget that, and it doesn't help that he's also the Prince of The Merfolk. The semester after he turns nineteen, he gets sent off to an elite university for supernatural creatures. While there, he gets acquainted with the infamous Trevor Brooks, universally and solidly hated by everyone and their moms. Why? Because he's the first demon in history to be allowed to leave their prison of Hell. A series of sinister events lead Zac and Trevor to believe they're being haunted by some very pissed off demons, and if they don't figure out how to stop them, the consequences will be horrifying. The main question is, just how messed up can Zac get before they break him? And is Trevor really falling in love, or just falling under his siren song? WARNING Content not suitable for those who are triggered by: Gore, death, drug abuse, swearing (lots of it), suggestive scenes, sexual interactions between two men, implications of mental illness, and abuse.
Wherever the waves would take her
She felt water falling on her face as Evie followed the waves, pushing her along. It felt like a dream, her body propelling her up to the surface as she struggled to gain some control over her body. Her thoughts were incoherent, a jumbled mix of sounds she could not begin to vocalise. What was she doing here? Where was she? Snapping her eyes open as she heard a distant boom that echoed for miles around, completely alone in the middle of a lightning storm. Which was strange because Evie didn't remember swimming to the ocean's surface to brave the cold.Complete
Mermaid Magic
Suddenly, something bumped into the pod. I looked at the girls. "What was that?" I asked, nervously. Suddenly another bump happened. Then another. Then another. "What the fuck is going on?" Jessica asked, irritably. "What is hitting our pod?" Tiffany asked, curiously. "Whatever it is, it's gotta be big enough to knock a fucking 200 lb pod." I said. Suddenly, another bump happened and it sent us flying into the water. We surfaced and gasped. "What the hell was that?!" Tiffany cried. I felt tugs on my legs. "Something's tryna pull me under!!" I cried. We all screamed as we were pulled underwater.Complete
