The woman who had taken her, was one who dealt with witchcraft and treats this girl with such hatred, that one day she buried her alive. Aurielle goes through a lot more hardship and struggles while living with this woman (Miss Esmin). Constant abuse and neglect now becomes a ritual for her, until one day, she builds enough courage to break the spell. She relives the tale, while telling her future husband of her past.
This story is set in the Caribbean (Jamaica) and all events happened at the age of 3-7 years of age.
