That is with Nico di Angelo and Will Solace as an exception, fighting their own battles and always running into obstacles that always seem to pop up everywhere. Is all of this worth the battle for love?

Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. THIS ISNT CANNON UNLESS IT ACCIDENTALLY IS BECAUSE I WROTE THIS AGES AGO BEFORE I READ TSATS AND MAYBE IM AN ORACLE?!) Don't expect all correct punctuation and grammar constantly but I think I'm alright at it- I haven't proof read it properly cuz I'm just that lazy TW: mild brief violence (maybe I can't remember exactly I wrote it ages ago), forced/non-consensual kissing in some scenes, talk of death, swearing, assault, controlling relationships, running away, entrapment. No smut Included because I hate it and they're kids in this (I wrote this when I was only 12 so if there was smut I would be concerned for my sanity even more) -i edited it onto whatpadd from my notes😭 Also I changed it slightly so there's gaps between stuff idk. The Seven in High School and Camp
K y'all. This story is trash 🙏. Im putting it back up for the sake of "memories". ENJOY THIS SHIT. Nico and the Seven decide to go to highschool. Calypso has been brought back by Leo. The war with Gaea, well, the damage was fixed. Leo and Calypso face a huge road block. And I mean HUGE. Heart warming yet tragic :). Percy and Annabeth are closer than ever, rarely fighting anymore. Frank and Hazel are a tad bit more touchy I believe. Piper and Jason struggle to help Leo and his heart, get through the hard situation, while Hazel says something to him that she deeply regrets. The plot twist with Leo and Calypso takes up the last 15 chapters. Suggestive and barely detailed. Time skips were placed in every appropriate place, so this is okay for 13+ :D. Though Calypso and Leo are having large issues, and Leo finds another girl who is interested in him, their mistake tosses their world upside down and back. High school is what mostly takes up this story. Breakups. Worry. Regret. Fear. Pure agonizing pain. Monsters. And of course... Percy Jackson's crew. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). What if our favorites demigods went to sleep one night, just to wake up in another reality? One where there are no demigods, no prophecies, where they didn't even like each other? Can they find a way to come back? Also, I obviously matured a lot in five years, so while the first chapters are more cliche and light - not to mention a bit cringy - the last chapters are deeper and more interesting, better written and so freaking long) A/N: I love ALL of the characters of the series (shocking! I even think of Luke as a hero, Jason as a good guy and Piper as smart and generous girl!) and my life goes beyond my bf. That being said, I should warn you that you won't find hate for Jason or such in here. I actually keep a list with my chapters so I can equally balance the same amount of POV between all of them(or try to). You'll find small amount of couple actions, but mostly, family interactions, friends, studies, jobs, pet, hobbies and some "me time" for the characters.
