Barren

Wendy was born into the R sector making her the newest addition to a generation of the richest people who now ran what was once know as America and is now known as the SUCG.
After World War 3 destroyed third world countries and major countries such as Russia, China, and most of Europe, America came out on the top. Half the country was destroyed by hydrogen bombs and atomic bombs leaving only half the population left.
Years after World War 3, the country once know as America changed to the SUCG or Sectors Under Class Generation.

Wendy, born in Sector R and be the youngest is a rare specimen to the SUCG. Wendy's father wants to make sure she stays rare and decides to take Wendy to a HEART auction where Wendy will select a person for their heart to be taken and perserved until Wendy goes through with the transplant. However, when Wendy arrives she comes to find that this decision is harder than she can imagine. After bidding for hours, Wendy finally picks her person. Miore Scott, citizen of the P sector (like most HEART auctioners are) is restrained and taken back to the R sector where they will take good care of him until the transplant is ready to happen. But when Wendy begins to develop a love for Miore, she must fight to keep him alive and may have to take serious measures.
