After half the world is destroyed, and her only living family member, vanishing into the tower, Jaylyn wants to make herself into what the government want. A pampered queen that knows how to defend herself. Each year the government takes people off the street they find potential in and train them to be soldiers. If you don't pass the tests for each level you get thrown out. There's no telling what happens after that. Jaylyn does great. But finding her sister and escaping the government isn't as easy as she thinks.
