I don't know how this all happened. No matter how many times I said this, the officer didn't believe me. He had no reason to doubt my story though, except for one thing. It wasn't true. I knew exactly how this had happened and I didn't regret any second of it. Except for the part where I ended up sitting on the cold ground of a jail cell.
Phil was barely an inch away and I could feel his eyes burning a hole in my head. I tried to ignore him and study every crease on my hand but soon it was intertwined with Phil's and a smile, barely noticeable, appeared at one side of his lips. For a moment I became breathless, even when I was mad at him I was still under his spell.
"Unbelievable," I mumbled under my breath before quickly removing myself from his grip and standing up. "Come on Dan, you arent honestly mad are you?" He asked softly, unsure of his question. "Of course I am!" I replied. "You got us into this mess, you got me into this mess!" I saw Phil's expression change as he took a step
