Life for Arielle Rodgers has never been fair since the accident. Since that fateful day, her parents have never treated her the same, and she became secluded, mostly speaking to only two of her best friends.

 Not being able to express herself correctly,  she writes her life in a journal, the closest thing that has heard or seen her every cry. That is until one day she mistakenly leaves it in the school library, only to be found by Eli James.
