"Fallen in Love" is a Destiel fanfiction based on the TV series "Supernatural" on The CW. It features the characters Castiel and Dean Winchester mainly, with a few side characters from the series.     
This fanfiction is an AU (Alternate Universe) I made in my mind while I was in the process of writing this. The AU: There was a massive war between Heaven and Hell, and now it is on standby. Neither side is winning or losing, Angels and Demons just keep dying. Castiel was a major commander, but Hell got its hands on a powerful spell and he fell from Heaven and lost his memories, the celestial quality of his wings, and his grace. He is now lost and confused. When he landed, he possessed a dying 10-year old boy. One year later, the demons killed his parents and would have killed him if it weren't for an angel named Hannah, who sacrificed herself to protect "baby" Castiel. His "Aunt" then took him in and raised him while the angels watched over. They would have interviened and showed him who he really was if it wasn't for one little roadblock. The spell cast won't allow it unless the angels can produce a counter-spell.
***WARNING! This is a little bit of a spoiler for Chapter One!***  Side Note: Castiel does not know that he is an angel. He doesn't even know they exist. He just knows that he has two feathery appendages hanging off of his back that can be seen by the human eye if not covered up.All Rights Reserved

I love the idea of Destiel, that a human and an angel can move beyond the physical boundaries of the human body, and find something deeper in each other, during a time when they are both ships tossing in a chaotic sea of emotions, and at a time when their lives are absolutely falling apart. They cling to one another, each becoming the other's safe harbor. It's transcends sex, moves beyond the fact that they are both in male form. It is love in its purest form, and it is on a deep and spiritual level. The idea that someone as broken as Dean Winchester can find someone that can see past the darkest parts of himself to the light within and still love him I think is the most beautiful thing on earth. Lots of overdoing. Castiel Novak was a 22 years old bass guitarist in a band called "Kings Of Purgatory" with his best friends Dean, Gabe and Benny.
