They say myths come from true stories, passed down for generations. Even in the oldest communities, where everyone knows the myths are true, they are still just that. A myth. The most famous myth is about the Great King. They say he knows all, every time a wolf dies or a new one is born. Wars were too frequent between the packs, so the King commanded them into hiding. There would be no communication between the packs or with the surrounding humans. Packs were to be a safe, secure place where they could thrive in their culture. Now humans are a myth. Now other packs are a myth. Now the Great King is a myth. *********Undergoing Revision*********

Adelaide meets her mate on the day she turns eighteen. However, she has a secret that no one knows about, not even her best friend. How long will she be able to keep this secret from her mate? And what will happen when he finds out? *** I never heard him make a sound, so his voice makes me jump as I hear him say "I can smell him on you" from right behind me. I turn around and dread fills me as I look into his dark eyes. They're glowing from the light from the fridge. I stumble over my thoughts but manage to squeak out "I thought you were out on a mission for your Alpha?" "I finished, and now I'm back." His eyes boring a hole through my head. "And I can tell that you've been slutting it up" he says with a look that makes me tremble. I start to shake my head, to try and persuade him that I haven't been doing anything wrong, but he forcefully grabs my jaw and stops me from shaking it. "You really shouldn't lie to me Adelaide, now I'm just going to have to teach you a lesson" he spits out at me. *** This isn't you typical story about werewolves, but I love the idea of mates, so follow these young adults on their journey with a supernatural twist.
