I'm Cilan. Upon first glance, you'd immediately recognise me as one of Unova's gym leaders. That's just surface info. If you went ever so slightly deeper then you'd notice that I, in fact have two brothers, Chili and Cress and that the gym is also a restaurant! Basic info. I'm also a connoisseur of multiple things, fishing, subway trains, and films. And of course I'm an A class Pokemon connoisseur. I just evaluate the compatibility between a trainer and their Pokemon, and that's around it. It's surprisingly easy if you know what to look for.

I should probably mention one more thing.

After visiting with her family and friends in Pallet Town, she headed to Cerulean Cape to visit Bill, who started up Crystal's PC Pokémon storage system. Bill was in the middle of an experiment and Crystal offers to help, which brings her the ability of a Ditto: the ability to change into any Pokémon. That is, with practice. A - The book crosses over with @Bossun24 's Pokemon Leaf Chronicles for 6 chapters. The crossover had been planned 1 year prior to its publishing. Q - Why is Leaf replaced by Lyra? A - Leaf is not replaced by Lyra, both characters are different in their own ways. I wanted to get Leaf out of the picture for a different kind of character growth. Lyra is Red's cousin sister, with Red being an experienced trainer, he acts like a mentor to her. Q - So time travel happens in this one? A - It does, and its fun how it plays out. Q - Who is this Masked Man? There was a masked man in the manga too. A - While the idea was original, a mystery man who structures every Team Rocket plan and assists Giovanni. I was shocked to see that the manga had someone named "Masked Man" as well. Q - Who is this Masked Man? And why is he important? A - A mystery man controlling every aspect of a criminal organisation and has been the true mastermind of Giovanni's every plan? Sounds pretty important to me. As for his identity, I was very unsure if I was ever going to reveal it as it was not very important at first until the second book was coming to an end.
