"I hate it when that happens."   I turn and see Chase staring after the couple and then glance at me.  "Pardon?" I cross my arms.  "When your best friend leaves you completely at the mercy of good looking young men that you don't even know." He gives me a pity look that was fake.  "It's a tragedy, really."   Chase didn't recognize me? Had I really changed that much? I didn't think so. Before I can correct him and say that we already know each other, Justin saves the day.  "Dude, that's Emma."
