There was a point in Stella Sullivan's life when she believed that she had absolute control over her life. Her happiness, her destiny, her loved ones. She was foolish enough to think that these things were up to her. Foolish enough to think love truly existed.

The day she learned the truth was at the tender age of 16. Her father died in a terrible car accident. Her mother was remarried to the creepy mayor making her entire life known to the public. And the boy-next-door that she loved since she was a little girl left. All in the course of one year.

Two years later Stella was finally in a good place. She was in a promising relationship and starting to believe that the relationship she had with her now famous neighbor was all a beautiful dream. But reality comes crashing down quickly when he comes back, with no thoughts of leaving again.

What happens when the one that got away didn't stay away?

First love never dies. Stella knew that. So she simply knocked the son of a bitch unconscious and buried it alive. So obviously, she was NOT in love. Not again
