Addison is always the new kid and can never stay in a school for more than six months at a time. It's not her fault though, it's her parents and their jobs. She hopes that this time will be better; that she'll stay in one place for just a year at most. That's all she's ever wanted. Nervous to start school she finds that the people here are different than everyone else; they're actually nice. She might even make some friends, which she'll inevitably have to leave. But for now all she can do is hope that this time things will be different. That this time she won't be known as just the new kid.

Mona, a 12-year-old girl who has always felt like an orphan, grows up selling hot dogs and sausages, believing she has no family and no surname to call her own. But everything changes when she discovers that she does have a family-one far larger than she could have ever imagined. With 18 brothers (not including her cousins) and overprotective parents who watch her every move, Mona is sent to live with her family. Now, she must navigate life with her new, boisterous, and protective family, where being the only girl among so many brothers comes with its own set of challenges, surprises, love, and lots of humour.
