The King of Poison

In the city of Alchemiopolis, every element known to man lives and breathes as a being. There is one slot for all 112 elements that is taken by the most notoriously known and named element: Arsenic. He is a villain, as venomous and intimidating as his name, who is an ally of the authoritarian Noble Gases, the governing party to all Alchemiopolis. The annual Valence Tournament approaches, and Arsenic, as a seventeen-time champion, darkly looks forward to another time he gets to kill and shed blood as the only purpose of his existence. However, after a chance meeting with a strange yet similar nonmetal, he begins to have second thoughts about his view of himself as nothing more than a killing machine and volatile pawn; for the first time, the villain questions his fate. Now, he must choose between who he was and who he wants to be as the Tournament draws to an exploding conclusion that will suddenly change his existence forever.
