SPOV : I rushed out of the shower, I quickly put on my shorts. I opened the door to see my mom & Alex sitting up against the wall, crying. "What's wrong guys?" I said leaning down towards them. "Steven, we got a call from the hospital, your dad died." My mom said looking down. All I could do was cry. I couldn't help it. I never cry in front of family. I slowly walked to my room & slammed the door. I cried even louder when I was alone. I pulled out my phone, & checked Instagram. Wow, all my scummies posted pictures of my dad, and commented on my posts with the words 'R.I.P' I'm glad they cared but the more comments about it made me more sad. I didn't even text Joce a goodnight text. I set my alarm, and cried myself to sleep
JPOV : That's weird, Steven & I usally text until 12:00AM. Maybe his mom made him go to bed since tomorrow school was tomorrow. I tried facetiming Jackie, Steven's sister. She didn't reply. Then, she finally texted me saying "Can't talk, my dad died"

The early morning sunlight was irritating me to open my eyes and as usual being lazy I was rubbing my eyes to adjust with bright sun rays.
