I got the idea for this from a friend. It's kind of like the red band society (I haven't seen that actually) but my friend told me about it. Adele is an anorexic girl. Sierra has liver problems. Spencer has leukemia. Noah has a brain tumor. And Max is in a coma. During the time when the teens are in the "in between", Max helps them and talks with with them. The teens are the only ones with blue hospital bracelets, because their parents left them or their parents couldn't take care of them, so they are now the hospital's foster kids. As the teens become closer, they form the Blue Bands club, for hospital foster kids. Each teen has to overcome their struggles in their own way, and they learn sometimes the journey really is greater than the destination. This is my first story, so bear with me! -LoudDream

  • Dear Ana,

6 different teenagers walk into their Junior year like they have every other year. 6 different teenagers, almost all in different social groups, all have different stories. Aaron's parents divorced and then he moves schools, separated from his twin brother Mark. Kira's mother is going through cancer, causing her great anxiety. Rylee is bullied every day by the same group of boys for being a band nerd and used to suffer from anorexia. Mark's parents divorced and lost his brother and father, leaving him alone with his Mom. Henry pretends like he has it all, while he struggles with academics. Emme wishes for a normal family, but only has her abusive father. As Junior year progresses, the 6 teens paths cross in ways they would never think. Friendships are made, renewed, and destroyed. *This story may cover some sensitive topics*
