Every school has the it boy. They're glamorized and idolized. They usually play some type of sport. In my town there existed an entire IT family. The Davis'. For decades, a Davis boy had ruled the halls of Crawford High. Without fail, the Davis family would produce the most attractive offspring of all of Crawford.
My generation was fortunate enough to have not 1, not 2, but 5 Davis boys. They ruled the school from the point my older sister Allison attended until I graduated. And we had the pleasure of not only calling the Davis boys fellow classmates but also neighbors.
I'd always day dreamed about one of them noticing me and falling madly in lover with me. I wasn't completely off base. Only, I wasn't the Bennett a Davis man would notice. That Bennett was my mom, Josephine. And the Davis was Mr. Davis, Richard. It just took 30 years. Now I have the pleasure of calling the Davis boys my soon to be step brothers.
Now I have to go home and somehow survive the man children that are the Davis boys.
