**Warning! This story contains very graphic scenes of violence.** "I need to know that you will want to be with me after that....that you won't despise what I turn into and that you'll love me, no matter what." Sophia nodded, whispering softly to him. "I will, always and forever." At that time, Sophia didn't realize that her words would be pushed to their ultimate limits. How can someone love another person when that person is more animal than man? Markus' battle for Sophia not only involves battling against those who would stand against them, but also the beast within, clawing and raging its way to be set free. Will Markus win the battle with the monsters he faces? Will Sophia be able to adapt to the changes of her fragile relationship? Will the pack be able to withstand the onslaught of a war with an outcome that no one can expect or will the monsters take control?

She looks up at me, her eyes on fire, "Asher, give me one good explanation on why you won't let me leave!" I step forward, and she takes a step back, her back pressing against the wall, trapped. "Come on, kitten, I know you don't really want to leave," I state. Her eyes narrow, "what makes you think that?" I smirk, "stop pretending you don't want to kiss me right now." ************************************************** Asher Bates is the bad boy and underground fighter, and Soyer Hill wants nothing to do with him. He's not used to being told no, and he won't let Soyer be an exception to that. But will his stubbornness and her denial cause them to hate each other more or will it make them fall? (**warning my first story written in only a guy's POV so it's a little rough, but don't let that stop you from reading it**)
