When Macy wins a prestigious running academy's attention, she gains popularity. To get in, she needs to focus completely on running. For writing she has to write papers on running and needs to test different running shoes for science. She can't fit it in to some classes and the school makes her drop them. Math is replaced with runners math and GT with practice. She hates it but doesn't want anyone to know. Her grades stumble when the test season comes around. Her grades stumble and her friends disappear. New people befriend her but they are the people who always teased her when they were younger. Then Jackson comes around. He helps her get back up to straight A's. He falls in love with her, but she is looking at someone else, the 2nd fastest person on the team, Tyler. Jackson try's to catch her as she chases the boys of her dreams. Can she turn around and see him before she trips and sees that the other boy doesn't care for her like she thought?
