At Grimsley High School, the students aren't exactly normal.  Most can see your death, for starters.  Second, they're all secretly doomed to fall at the hands of their 'creators'.  When Aurora and Cliff come to Grimsley, Pepper's once 'normal' life got turned upside down.  Dragged into a battle between The Rebellion and The Organization, Pepper fights for survival, from herself and everyone else.  Will Aurora be able to save her from her fate?  Or will The Organization win this fight?
