It has been over a century since the “Fall of the Old Gods”, many of the ‘Generation of the Red Flames’ still remember when the great deities came from their thrones above and into the mortal realm to fight a war. Many of the gods had foreseen this coming and many new that a new generation would have to take over in their place, so many of the gods set off to find those who would inherit the gods’ power. One god in particular had planed to make sure that his successor would be of his power, so the God of Murder Bhaal set out in order to see this happen. He produced thirteen children who could and would possibly inherit his power and throne, though threw some unforeseen fate Bhaal had not produced 13 children but 14; the 14th was to be his undoing and the cause for his lineage to end. The 14th was the youngest and the strongest of the children of Bhaal. Since the fall only 5 of the 13 evil sons of Bhaal had remained due to the 14th work on ridding the world of his evil brothers.
So the 14th had set up a school in order to help him on his journey to destroy the “Five Black Skulls of Bhaal” as his brothers had become to been known. With the help of his companions Minsc, Imoen, Jaheira, Yoshimo, and Keldorn they set up the Rathian Kingdom academy, and with the help of the fame the group had earn many had joined and become great warriors, mages, thieves, assassins, rangers, ninjas, bards, and many more types of fighters. The Rathianalos Kingdom has chosen the five students who have show the most promise in defeating the children of Bhaal so before they are to fight them they are sent on a long quest, but it goes unexpectedly in a different direction and the five must face difficult challenges, Forgotten Gods who roam the earth, Godly men and monsters, creatures of a forgotten age, and fates that could be far worse than death.
