Devastated

I was running faster than an Olympic gold medalist. I sprinted through the crowd of people, jumping over benches and fire hydrants. Each step was crucial, one slip and their lives could be over. Every moment in my life lead up to this, everything we had worked to protect was in jeopardy. Everything we fought for depended on if I could get away. All of it was on the line because I was careless.
