Meet Tessa Robin. She's seventeen, fell in love with Elvis Presley when she was eight and hasn't stop adoring him since, she has a brother called Jerry and two parents who are the epitomes of the saying "contraries attrack", she wants to become a microbiologist and no one likes her for the weirdest reasons.
1) She loves to stay at home and study on Friday and Saturday night.
2) Her brother is super popular and he talks in her back without her knowing it.
3) She's anorexic.
Tessa has no friends, but doesn't really care. She is self-sufficient and doesn't want anybody's help. Between her aggressive father, her careless mother and her inexistent social life, Tessa is trying to survive the so called hardest part of life: high school. Tessa thinks the best way is to thin down a.k.a. stop eating. People start to realize that she is more than a freak with a bad reputation, but is it too little too late?

But fitting back into that normal life they missed so much is proving to be hard. Especially for Maya, who has a tendency to get herself in trouble and extraordinary situations ENTIRELY her fault. (She'd rather die than admit that of course) Old life brings the problem of boys, unwanted advances, homework, teachers and of course, a boyfriend with she had a rather uncharacteristic meet-up. Scott, Sed, Andy are her childhood friends all the way with her in this. Almost all the way. They didn't expect her to change or to come back at all and they are having a HARD time adjusting to the new Maya. She's dangerous, she's hot and she knows it. She has done a lot in the past two years that will catch up to her and stuff after that which refuses to stay hidden. Controlling CEOs, sensitive boyfriend, an obssessed boss is just the tip of the iceberg. And I'm not even touching the problems at her school. Will all this unwanted attention put her in trouble? She tries to start a new life but ghosts from her past just aren't ready to leave her. Question is, can she make it through and have a happy ending or not?
