Akaru Hibari became a ninja with one sole purpose, to avenge the death of her family who was killed by a person she had come to know as Shadow.
When she finally found his whereabouts, she had no second thought in trying to kill him only to be saved by the same person. Turns out, he was not the man she had searched for but just someone that was cursed with the same appearance.
Upon encountering the real Shadow, he told her a way to resurrect her brother and now, she have to use Kuro and his friends to solve the God's Maze and finally see her brother once again.
