Lyla Jones and Chase McDonald have been best friends since they were eight years old when they bonded over how easy multiplication was and how great the Harry Potter book series was. As they grew older, he stayed more of a math and science kind of guy and she became more artistic-but they still remained attached at the hip.
However, when people started suggesting that they should date each other, things got a little awkward. Luckily, they both quickly ignored the ridiculous thought.
But things got weird when high school came around. It was so more dramatic, like middle school drama turned up to level 11. Neither of them were ready for it.
But Chase and Lyla still remained just best friends.
