Ava Anderson, a 16-year old "social butterfly" who goes to Riverbank High, thinks that she has the perfect life of a teenage girl, until one day, everything goes wrong, and her life changes.
An incident happens which changes her life. She turns from a "social butterfly" to a complete "nerd" and is the shyest girl in school when she was the most outgoing. None of her friends, before and after know about the incident, and she isn't planning to tell anyone in fear of being made fun of.
Until one day, Jason Daniels, a new kid, joins Riverbank High and becomes one of the popular kids, just like Ava was before the incident. Ava immediately falls in love, going through some ups and downs on the way till her life goes back to normal, and becomes the perfect life it used to be, the perfect life she remembers.
