Set in the year 2053 This is a story about an alcoholic who got too drunk and robbed a liquor store, he had a wife and a child but lost them to a serial killer. He had two choices; go to Mars or go to prison for ten years. He went to Mars little to find out that his friends did worse then he did. They did crimes almost like treason to the new Solar Empire.  Mars hasn't fully been terraformed so they send people that have done treason or different crimes to Mars to help terraform it completely. It is still freezing cold and they just barely made an atmosphere for Mars and now our "Hero" Is here on Mars for a stupid small crime. Mars in of itself may not be a safe haven but it is yet to be as Earth is running out of fossil fuels but no one is fighting for them as a new empire was formed when they terraformed Titan.
